The Sciton Laser
Skin Rejuvenation
A treatment to reveal skin that radiates.
What is the Sciton Laser?
Think of Sciton as a reset button for your skin. This advanced, customizable laser technology uses light energy to refresh, resurface, and restore your skin’s natural radiance. We love how it renews and refines by targeting years of sun damage, uneven tone, and textural changes—all while stimulating collagen to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin.
The Sciton works by gently resurfacing the skin and jumpstarting collagen production, improving everything from sun spots and discoloration to dullness and loss of elasticity.
Each treatment is fully tailored to you—whether you’re looking for a light refresh or a more dramatic rejuvenation and resurfacing, we’ll customize it to your skin’s needs and your personal goals. The result: smoother, brighter, more radiant skin with minimal downtime. It’s one of the most effective ways to achieve long-lasting, luminous skin at any age.
Which treatment is right for me?
Each person’s skin is unique — and so is the way it responds to laser treatments. We love these treatments because they work with your body’s own ability to reset, repair, and reveal fresh, healthy skin.
Your ideal results may come from a single treatment or a customized plan that combines different Sciton technologies over time. The best way to find out what’s right for you? Give us a call or send us a note (photos welcome!) with your skin goals or areas of concern — our medical team will help design the perfect plan for your glow 💖.

BroadBand Light (BBL)
A light-based rejuvenation that uses advanced broad-spectrum wavelengths to target sunspots, redness, and uneven tone. Think of it as your skin’s “clean slate” — minimal downtime and high impact for pigmentation and glow.
Best for: pigmentation, sun damage, rosacea, early signs of aging, Acne, pore appearance
Downtime: little to none — most people return to daily life immediately
-
HALO
HALO combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in one treatment to peel and rebuild simultaneously. It’s how we offer deeper renewal with more visible results — but with downtime far shorter than traditional resurfacing lasers.
Best for: texture, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, pores
Downtime: ~3–5 days of peeling and redness
-
MicroLaser Peel (MPL)
A fractionated peel that removes just the surface layer to refresh your skin’s surface. You get a smoother, more even complexion with less downtime than a full resurfacing treatment.
Best for: dull texture, sun damage and pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone
Downtime: ~1–2 days of mild peeling or flaking and redness
-
ProFractional
This laser creates microscopic channels in the skin to trigger deep remodeling while sparing surrounding tissue. Because it works below the surface, it’s powerful for smoothing, scar revision, and deeper textural changes — with controlled healing.
Best for: acne scars, deeper texture, fine lines + wrinkles, sun damage & pigmented lesions, dull or uneven skin
Downtime: 5–7 days of visible redness / warmth depending on intensity
-
SkinTyte
Using infrared energy (powered by BBL), SkinTyte is dedicated to firming and tightening soft tissue. It’s your go-to when you want to restore skin support and combat sagging — with no downtime.
Best for: skin laxity, sagging cheeks, neck, decollete, improving firmness
Downtime: mild warmth or redness only
Because our aesthetic treatments are quick and require little downtime, we don’t always see patients after their results have come to fruition! We’re in the process of collecting more photos to share soon—stay tuned for additional before-and-after images.
Before and After Photos
Patient A
This patient underwent two BroadBand Light (BBL) treatments with Nurse Chelsi. They used our little Sciton laser to address sun damage, pigmentation, and overall skin tone.
After two sessions, there is a noticeable improvement in those little brown spots being pulled up and overall clarity — their skin appears brighter and more even!!
Patient B
This patient underwent one combined HALO + BBL treatment, one of our favorite combo treatments in the office for patients looking for an all-around skin reset — especially if they’re new to laser treatments. This combo targets pigmentation, uneven tone, and texture while also stimulating collagen production beneath the surface. After just one treatment, there is visible improvement in skin clarity, with brown spots appearing lighter and the skin looking brighter and refreshed.
For deeper rejuvenation or addressing more significant sun damage, a series of around 2–3 treatments is typically recommended, spaced typically 6–8 weeks apart to allow the skin time to heal and rebuild collagen. With good sun protection, many patients choose to continue with periodic laser treatments (often about once per year) as part of a long-term skin health and maintenance plan (aka - to keep that “just born” baby skin look!).

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most patients describe Sciton laser treatments as very tolerable! During treatment, you’ll feel gentle warmth as the laser energy is absorbed into the skin. Depending on the specific treatment (such as BBL, HALO, or MicroLaserPeel), you may notice a light prickling or heat sensation as the laser works to resurface the skin and stimulate collagen production.
For added comfort, we often recommend applying topical numbing cream, which can be done at home beforehand or in the office if you arrive early to your appointment.
While the treatment itself is generally well tolerated, it’s common to feel warm or sunburn-like afterward. This will typically peaks shortly after treatment and improves after a few hours!
-
Most sessions take around 60 minutes, depending on the area(s) and the treatment(s) selected!
-
You’ll start to notice improvement as early as 1–2 weeks, with collagen continuing to remodel for up to 3–6 months for smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.
-
The number of treatments varies based on your skin concerns and your goals!!
Many patients see meaningful improvement after one treatment, but for deeper damage or more advanced rejuvenation, a series of 2–3 treatments is typically recommended. Treatments need to be spaced roughly 6–8 weeks apart to allow proper healing and collagen regeneration before going in for the next treatment.
Basically… come in and let’s talk about your skin! It’s important to us that we help you design a plan that aligns with your goals, timeline, and budget, focusing on the right treatment plan that gives you the greatest impact.

Results are long-lasting, especially because these treatments stimulate your skin’s own collagen production. As with any laser treatment, maintaining good sun protection and a consistent skincare routine is essential.
Many patients choose annual maintenance treatments to continue stimulating collagen and maintain that healthy, glowing skin over time. And yes — we know that avoiding all UV exposure isn’t realistic, which is why thoughtful maintenance matters.
-
Yes please! Sun protection is always important for skin health, but it’s especially critical right after laser treatments.
During the first 1–2 weeks after treatment, your skin is going through a healing process and will be more sensitive than usual. Wearing sunscreen, avoiding direct sun exposure where possible, and using protective measures (like hats) during this time helps protect your results and supports proper healing.
Even after the initial healing period though, continuing consistent sun protection will help maintain your results and support long-term skin health ❤️
